Enrollment Requirements
- Kindergarten through fourth grades
- Student must live in zip codes 78418, 78419, or 78373
- Students must have an up-to-date health record on file.
- Dress code as per the school uniform
- Parent provides transportation, sack lunch, drinks, and snacks
- Seashore Learning Center accepts students regardless of race, color, or national origin. Transfer students will be considered for admission provided they have not been suspended from their former school or have a criminal record.

Registration
Seashore Learning Center is a Texas Open-Enrollment Public Charter School. No tuition is required.
Open registration for new students will take place during the month of March. All students whose registration is in the office by March 31 will qualify for the April 1st lottery. Students who register after March 31st will have their name added to the waiting list (if class is full) in the order their registration is received.
Parents must complete:

- Record Request Form
Parents must provide:
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Copy of Social Security Card
- Copy of Shot Record (All students in Nueces County, TX must have 2-part Hepatitis –A series.)
- Proof of Residence

Additional paperwork will need to be completed once a student has been accepted. Record request forms are not sent to your child’s current school until after school is out in May. Please call the school office (361) 949-1222 if you have any questions. Completed forms can be mailed or faxed (361) 949-6762.

Student Uniforms
Uniforms are a great equalizer. They encourage pride in personal appearance and promote school spirit. In addition, uniforms eliminate self-consciousness. Uniforms are mandatory for all students at Seashore Learning Center. Each student is expected to strictly abide by the uniform guidelines.
Parker School Uniforms, located at 4252 S. Alameda (906-0400), is our authorized vendor. They carry shirts and sweatshirts with the school logo and uniform pants, shorts and skorts. Uniform pants, shorts and skorts may also be purchased at local area stores.
On Fridays, students are allowed to wear the school T-shirt as long they are not going on a field trip. Please make sure your child is in proper uniform daily.
